Public Research Services
Remote Research Service
Rugby School Archives offers a remote enquiry service for researchers. Enquiries can be submitted via the following methods:
Email: archives@rugbyschool.net
Post: History Department, Rugby School, Barby Road, Rugby CV22 5DW
Telephone: 01788 556 189
As part of this remote service we offer one free hour of research, which includes researching the collection, digitisation and a response. If it will take longer than one hour to answer your enquiry then a member of the team will contact you about charges for further research.
This service is principally staffed by the Archivist Manager and Assistant Archivist who will try to complete all enquiries within 10 working days. During busy times however, enquiries may take up to 30 working days to complete, and possibly longer in some cases.
For more information about access to the collection and our access policy please contact the archives.
Onsite Research Service
Rugby School Archives offers onsite access to its collections by appointment only. Currently we can only accommodate two researchers per term, depending on availability. We are currently unable to offer onsite access until 2027.
Requests for onsite access can be submitted via the methods above.
All visitors will have to follow Rugby School's Safeguarding and Visitor Policies which can be found on the Rugby School Website.
